Flu and WC jab reactions?

Had both on Wednesday and felt ok, just really sore arm. Last night and today I've been feeling mildy nauseous, occasional stomach pains, burpy (sorry) and a little bit coldy. Bit worried the dreaded morning sickness is returning (30 weeks) Sad or have others felt like this a couple of days after the vaccinations? TIA

I had both yesterday (I'm 35 weeks) I felt fine up until 8pm last night (had the injections at lunch time) when my arm suddenly went completely dead and had hot flushes. After completely passing out last night and sleeping 12 hours I have felt flu-y and achey all day. I have had the migraine from hell, back ache, "period pain" but have been ravenous! Hope all year aches n pains go soon! I feel so sorry for little babies now when they get their injections!!!

Hello!
I had mine thurs. Apart from sore arms I have been fine with no issues at all!

I'm weighing up whether to get them. Interested to know of any side effects.

I had them together last year and was okay until that night when I felt awful, achy, sick and like hell. The next day I felt a bit off it but not too bad.

I'm not sure if it was the combination of them or just one that caused it as I'd never had either before (or since). I know my mum has the flu jab every year and says it can make her feel like she's got very mild flu for a few days.

Why are the vaccines being given together?

Is it timing or your stage of pregnancy?

TobyLerone · 28/09/2013 09:47

They're not live vaccines so I don't suppose it matters.

Don't get me wrong I'm glad I had them! Still feel terrible, maybe something unrelated. I booked the WC one as I was 30 weeks (ideal time) and when I went in the nurse said the flu jabs had arrived so she may as well do both!

I had both together on Monday, the arm that I had the WC jab in was really sore for the next couple of days but nothing apart from that

PinkParsnips · 28/09/2013 11:00

No one has even mentioned the flu jab to me!

Is it something every pregnant woman is offered? (I'm 33+6)

I had a reaction to the wc one, there's still a mark on my arm 6 weeks later!

EmB1715 · 28/09/2013 11:30

Yes you should be offered it soon. Best to call your GP and ask when they will have them in/book an app

Thanks, I'm seeing my midwife on Fri so I'll ask.
