Membrane sweep, had a show but no baby yet

Managed to convince consultant to give me a sweep on Wednesday at 39+2 with DC3. She said babies head was engaged, cervix starting to dilate and she was sure sweep would work. Came home passed loads of gunk (sorry TMI) but no contractions, braxton hicks or anything. As its been more than 48 hours I presume its not worked and I am a bit fed up. Anybody got any advice on how to help things along. Been squatting all morning when I not been bouncing on gymball

My midwife say most people need two or three sweeps to get things going so maybe book another in?
Other than that I've been told hill walks, time on your hands & knees & anything that tilts your pelvis forward is supposed to be good.

Smallbee with DC2 I had a sweep at 40+3 and went into labour two days later. Think this has added to my disappointment today. Bump is a lot lower now than it was this morning so keeping fingers crossed

I had a sweep 8 days ago on my due date. Same thing as you, had a show and some gunk but that was it. Had another one yday at 41w. More gunk today. Think it's my plug, but not a twinge of a contraction. Pretty down this evening. Induction booked for Tuesday. I never thought my pregnancy would end like this. Hope things happen for you soon
