Hi, hoping everyone is fast asleep! I woke up at 3 with what I thought was a braxton hick (period like cramp in lower uterus), went to the loo but had a gush of something en route, small pool on floor, stuff down my legs. Put a pad in and tried to go back to sleep but had another BH. Have come downstairs and there's a fair amount of bloody water on the pad. Dark pink.
Should I call the DAU when they open at 8? I'm 36+5
Thanks X

Thanks so much everyone, our inpatient baby boy was born yesterday after a fast back to back labour, stuck at the end so ventouse and theatre for manual removal of placenta but all fine! Excellent care and no regrets. he's a small but perfect 4lb 14, just working

Congratulations! My waters broke when I was 37 weeks and had literally just finished work, so I too missed out on a few weeks of relaxing, film watching and cake etc, all totally worth it though! Enjoy those newborn snuggles and getting to know you're beautiful baby boy. And make sure to relax and take it easy where possible, especially important when you've not had much relaxation time beforehand! Smile
