This is my first pregnancy and as I'm getting to the end it feels like it is taking longer!! I'm so uncomfortable all the time and full up of false hope for labour to be imminent, I'm constantly looking for signs that seem to amount to nothing and most of all I have had enough of waiting to meet my baby Sad
I wanted to start this thread just to see if there is anyone else feeling just as fed up and emotional as me!!! Haha Thought it would be good to have a little place to moan!

I'm a week behind you but ditto! Very fed up and just want baby to be here now.
Not sleeping so it's not like I can even "enjoy these last few days of getting a good night's sleep" like people keep telling me. Just can't sit doing nothing on mat leave, and trying to avoid eating constantly just because I'm bored.

Glad I'm not the only one!! I know exactly what you mean in regards to the whole 'enjoying the last few days' its impossible!! I'm definitely prepared for the night feeds with the amount of times I'm up during the night to go for a wee! I have eaten way too much whilst I have been off so I'm convinced baby is going to be huge! Haha
Have you had any signs of labour?

Had no Braxton hicks, been feeling more sick and going to the toilet more over the last few days (TMI sorry) and starting to get some stretching style cramps, but literally any movement and I'm googling to see if it's a sign of labour!

I think we definitely deserve a moan. The only good thing is that the texts haven't started with "is baby here yet?".

Jade1818 · 25/09/2013 14:09

I am definitely in the same boat!! Every twinge I am checking to see if its labour, I have been losing my mucus plug for just under a week but still no signs of the little one. I wish people warned us that pregnancy was this frustrating at the beginning!!!

Lucky you!! The texts have started this end and its to the point where I actually want to turn my phone off! I honestly can't understand how people don't get that once I have any news they will know, I'm not going to elope and have the baby in secret! Haha

I have everything crossed that I don't go overdue especially when things are this bad already! I don't know about yours but my baby seems to enjoy tucking up right underneath my ribs and I'm sure they are going to break any day now!

Hopefully our October babies may make an appearance in September! (Wishful thinking!)

Ooooh switch your phone off! I really don't get why people don't realise that you'll tell them when baby arrives and them texting won't make it happen any more quickly. It's nice they care but still...

40+6 here. Wait until that date comes and goes. Then you'll feel even worse like me! 1 failed sweep, another one tomorrow so fingers crossed (not legs). I told people to bugger off and stop texting me and I will text them when I have news. The last thing u need is pressure from childless friends who are over excited and don't have a clue how u are feeling. Hope you meet your baby soon Thanks and can enjoy a Wine

Jade1818 · 25/09/2013 21:44

Definitely going to switch it off TinyCC I hope your feeling ok this evening.
PinkApple86 40+6!!! I feel for you I bet it's even more frustrating especially when every day feels like a week! I hope tomorrow goes well for you and the sweep works!!! Your so right I understand people are excited but surely they understand it just adds to our frustration! I can't wait for that first glass of wine once baby is here and everything is settling down! I think we all deserve it!!

Here's hoping we all meet our baby's soon!!! Smile
