Overwhelming feeling of twins??

I'm 6 weeks tomorrow. Not been to Drs yet. This last week or so I've been having this overwhelming (and bloody scary) feeling its going to be twins. It's really weird. I had a MC in July & DD is 18 months & in this pregnancies the thought didn't even cross my mind. Anyone else have this feeling & turned out to be right? What happens with twins? Do you just usually find out at 12 weeks at the scan?

Haha, I find out tomorrow if my recent dreams will be true! We have non I'd twins in the family, this is dc3 and I am huge, morning sickness etc so much worse and I already have one of each. Private scan tomorrow at 11+2. Not sure if I will laugh with joy either way really......

I also have a feeling I'm carrying twins. (10 weeks)
I'm putting it down to be slightly unhinged with a good imagination.
Will let you know when i have my scan at 12 weeks.

I'd love twins I only want to children and would be fab only being pregnant once. I'm having horrific sickness and its putting me off being preganant again. Twins would be a scary bonas. There's is no twins in my family so I doubt but a girl can dream lol
People think I'm crazy but you would adapt :)

I've not got sickness (yet) but didn't before. Everything else seems worse than before and I just keep having these funny little niggles that there are 2 in there!!! Looks like I will just have to wait & see. I did google it & seems quite common that people with twins "just know" or like you, have recurrent dreams....!!!!

I found out that I am having twins at 10 weeks ( I am now 20 weeks) and it was a complete huge massive shock!! I had no inclination at all!!

I had more early pregnancy symptoms when I was pregnant with my son and have not been nearly as sick with these two as I was with him.

I'm currently PG with my 2nd set of twins. My eldest twins have just turned 1. With my 1st set I never had that feeling as previous DC were singletons and my HCG levels turned out to be normal. Imagine my shock at my scan to find out it was MoMo twins! However with this set I had a niggle at the back of my mind even though last set were identical, twins do run in the family and I was panicking like crazy because I didn't think I was ready for another twins having just had a set however fate decided otherwise and I was proved right. Completely shocked even though I knew in the back of my head.

Twins are hard but so is raising a singleton baby after awhile the crazy days blend together ;)

Oh and you will know by 12 weeks if it's twins! :)

Bang on 6 weeks the nausea & feeling generally shit has well & truly set in.

Someone up there said be careful what u wish for! I don't know about that. I am actually petrified that I'm right!!!! Not sure how on earth we'll cope. Financially as well as bloody mentally. Am tempted to go for an early scan but can think of a million& one things to spend that money on!!

I am 30+2 with DCDA (non ID) twins. Had no idea until we were told at the 12 week scan. No twins in my family (have been told it follows the mothers line) and DP has a second cousin with ID twins, which do not run in families, everyone has the same chance apparently. So i guess I'm starting something I've had no morning sickness or any other symptoms other than sore boobs and light cramping, all of which have gone and been replaced with lots of kicking, rolling around and hiccupping. I love it! So amazing

I felt like this cos I put on so much weight in that 1st tri n just had that 'feeling',I was convinced,even after the 1st scan I thought 1 might b hiding til we had the 20 week 1 lol x

I'm still convinced its twins! I have been eating for England but I defo have a small bump... I just want to know! But really can't scrape the money together for a private scan just yet & by the time we do it'll nearly be the 12 week one anyway! x

I dreamt mine was twins, and it isn't! However one of my best friends is having a baby at about the same time as me, same gender as mine and as the twins in my dreams so I guess that's what it was all about!

I'm reassured. Having twins would have been an unknown that I don't know how my body would have coped. Nevermind the effects it would have had on our financial/employment situation.
With one, I feel more confident.

The idea of twins had started to fade when i realised i'd not gained any weight in the first trimester, so i was prepared to hear it was a singleton although it was still the first thing i asked the sonographer.

Got the shock of my life at my 12 week scan, twins had not entered my mind. I was very sick from around 6 weeks, hardly ate anything, extreme exhaustion and lost weight.

My twins have just turned one :)

I am 13 weeks pregnant with identical twins I was surprised but at the same time I kept saying to my dh before the scan I think it's twins.

where is OP?
