Has anyone taken domperidone for sickness in pg?

My GP prescribe this today. Assured me it was safe, am 12 weeks today. Anyway I took the first 2 doses and have only just now googled it to find that it's not explicitly safe, and only recommended as a last resort medication. In US they advise against.

Has anyone else taken this?

My symptoms are more reflux/regurgitation/nausea than vomiting but it does say it works for this. Omeprazole has not worked so far.

Thanks in advance

And I'm really annoyed because it seems to be working...

Hi. I take domperidone usually as I have a medical condition where I physically can't be sick. However in pregnancy my doc said not to take it and have me cyclizine instead which luckily was ok for me.

Have you already tried cyclizine? If so then the domperidone is probably fine as its the last resort one.

Sorry this isn't much help! If the gp has prescribed its no doubt fine though. X
