Is this CTS in my arm?

As always I have resorted to Google to self-diagnose until I go to see my consultant on Tuesday but just wondered if anyone else shares my pain!!!

The last couple of days I have been suffering from severe pain and discomfort in my right forearm, from the base of my thumb almost down to the inside of my elbow. I'm 37+2 and have suffered quite a lot from swollen hands since about week 27 and wake up in the morning with aching fingers as though I have been making tight fists all night. But this pain is something much worse. Not sure if it's carpal tunnel syndrome or not but does anyone else out there have or had the same thing and is there any way to relieve the pain??

Sounds like it Sad. I had it in my first two pregnancies and at 23 weeks with DC4 am starting to feel the familiar tingle (surprisingly nothing at all with DC3 Hmm). Speak to your midwife and/or GP to double check, but wrist splints at night alleviated it a bit. But on the plus side it disappeared pretty much as soon as I had given birth, so not too long to go now!

doesn't sound like CTS to me but it could still be pregnancy related.

Could it be a trapped nerve I get one in my shoulder blade and runs down my arm feels like my little finger is being pulled ?
