I'm 38+3 weeks pregnant with dc4 he's a big boy (@36weeks weighted 7lb 11oz ) and at night I lie on my left with a pillow under bump to help support. Anyway every am now I wake up in pain under my left boob at the top of my bump. I think it's gravity making my big baby sit there all night and when I get up gravity moves him more central and releases him off that spot. ???
This morning around 2am I woke up shot up out of bed and was breathing through the pain it felt like he was lay there and then just ripped the top of my uterus of my rib?? The pain shot across the top of my bump right under my boobs and as it eased off at moved down my bump. My question is should I be worried or is my gravity + big baby theory more than likely correct ??
Thanks for reading sorry if iv rambled I'm currently wide awake as to scared to go back to sleep because of leg cramps toilet brakes pain from baby ect

Hospital for you madam! Call your midwife and get checked over.

It's more than likely fine. I've had some sharp pains at the top recently at 39 weeks. They ease with movement or changing position so I do think its where the baby is lying. But go and get checked for peace of mind.

Pain in the top of your bump needs to be checked out ASAP. Do see someone.
