Hi everyone Smile

Lots of people post worried about baby's movements being quieter/less than usual etc. And wondering whether to ring the hospital or not.

Today (I'm 28+4) I felt my baby was moving less than normal in the afternoon. I was going to leave it but decidedto ring the antenatal unit for advice and they said to pop down for monitoring.

I did and thankfully all is perfect - baby started having a party as soon as I was attached to the monitor Smile

However the midwife was so nice and reassuring and said I did exactly right and to never hesitate ringing again if I'm ever concerned.

I feel so reassured knowing all is well and my baby is moving happily.

So please if you get worried ring!! They'll be happy to see you and you'll feel reassured x

Yy I just got out of hospital last night after going to be checked on Friday morning with very painful tightenings every 10 minutes at just under 23 weeks. Every midwife and dr I saw was utterly lovely and never made me feel like a timewaster.

In the end, they said I could go home as things settled a bit. They think one of my fibroids is degenerating, causing my uterus to contract but hopefully not enough to start labour. Bedrest for me. What joy!

The last mw I saw said "we'd rather see you 10 times and everything be fine than you not call once and there be something wrong".

Glad everything is ok!! Painful tightenings must have been really scary at 23 weeks, Toby.

Glad you're ok too Toby that sounds scary! [Sad] x
