Private at Queen Charlotte - any views, advice

Hi all
Wanted to check one lat time before handing in my deposit, if you have any experience of private maternity care at Queen Charlotte or any advice, please comment, positive or negative!

Friend had an elective section there. (Twins) She said it was great.

Yes - had first baby there privately a few years ago and now am 16 weeks with 2nd. Amazing quality of care, couldn't fault them. Which consultant are you going with? I am with Mr McCarthy - lovely chap!

I had NHS delivery but stayed on the private ward for a night (had been in hospital for a week and was desperate for a room to myself!)

It's a really good hospital with excellent midwives and doctors. Personally see no point in paying for delivery when the nhs is so good on this front, but would definitely go private for post natal care if feasible as you get your own room and lots of help with feeding etc.
