Hi guys,I'm really not sure what's happening. I'm currently 32 +2 and I've had constant back pain today,a lot of discharge with bits of muscus plug, and I'm having low pain in my cervix, doesn't feel like BH and its not allover my stomach just low,but feels sharper if that makes sence. I lost a huge part of mucus plug last tues,I thought it had all gone but I've been having bits come out since. No blood or anything. Had MW app on fri n she says he's in position,is it just normal pregnancy stuff or should I be worried and ring hospital? X

I would say just for peace of mind ring them up. They'll be able to monitor and tell you whether they're contractions or not. Good luck and I'm sure everything is fineThanks

At 32 weeks I definitely would call. Hope all is well! Flowers

princesscupcakemummyb · 25/08/2013 21:41

do call them take care let us know your up-date Flowers

MummyJetsetter · 25/08/2013 22:17

I'd call, I've called for the cervical pains this early which they said was normal (like stabbing pains) but the plug coming out is very early, they say 2 weeks ish before birth. You might have to take things very easy to prevent anything happening too early. Good luck! x

Just a note of caution, if you're having back pains DON'T let them rely on the monitor to tell if you're contracting or not, insist someone checks your cervix! This happened to me and I was the full 10cm before the monitor even flickered with a contraction, despite me being in agony!

RhondaJean · 26/08/2013 22:08

Please call, I thought I had a uti...

BigW · 26/08/2013 22:12

Always better to check. Please do call to tell them you're coming in Flowers

so true Featherbag, the MW didn't believe I was in labour because she couldn't feel the contractions in my stomach but I was in a lot of pain in my back. She apologized profusely though so I'm over it but it definitely can happen!

As soon as I posted I didn't get any more pains (typical) but I rang info line anyway. Everything ok, just BH getting stronger as I'm getting further along, aparently that wasn't my muscus plug,as I've been losing bits since then too,it was just a very large piece before.i didn't know it replaces itself.thanks for all the advice though guys, much appreciated. But I was just being para as normal, god knows what ill be like when he gets here lol xx
