Pregnant with baby no 2!!!!! Yay!!

Just thought i would shout it on here as cant do anything publicly to the real world yet as its a bit early (im only about 4 weeks).

But so excited! I already have DD1 who is 2 years 3mth and this one is due in may the same time as DD1's 3rd birthday!

How do you explain to a two year old about baby in mummys tummy, are there books you can show them? she tends to jump on me a lot so want to try to explain to her why she mustnt lol

anyway, i just came on to share my excitement really !!lol

Congratulations!!!! I'm now 13 weeks, but this baby is due right around DS's 3rd birthday so will have the same age gap. I can't wait, so excited!!

hiya mojo1981 congratulations on your pregnancy my youngest is 2 on nov 16th and im expecting dc3 30 weeks now its hard to explain to them but i told my children early on when i knew the pregnancy was safe due to a mc previouesly anyway i wont lie ive had quite a few knocks on the bump from the youngest acidently of course but baby is fine we got their by having a doppler at home and kept listening to baby took them to the scan and showed the pics to them also kept saying theirs the baby in mummys tummy it worked dont worry to much you will be fine babys very protected in the earlier weeks

Hello. congratulations to you all. My DS is 20 months on Wednesday and I am taking my last pill tomorrow to TTC for DC1. So sadly I'm not able to be as excited as you lucky ladies above but I am excited about trying. I too would like a nice 3 year gap between my two. Only thing is that I'm a little scared after a traumatic first time birth experience. Good luck to all and hopefully I will be able to join the thread soon x

Hi op & congrats too! I'm also about 5 weeks with dc2, have got a ds who has just turned 2. Feeling a bit overwhelmed but excited too, I've been really wanting to tell someone, so it's nice to share it here!

congrats!!! i am similar to rockchick (hi Martian! ) , ds is gonna be 2.11 when ds2 arrives next march . I find the due date thread helpful esp in the keeping secret stage (now thankfully past that...)
