....what else can I do? 40+4 with #2, 2-3cm dilated, 2/5th engaged, but nothing happening.

MW said to bounce on birth ball but it punctured. Ay other suggestions? Do long walks really work/help?

I think walks only help speed up labour once you're actually in labour but I could be wrong. There's some evidence that sex can help bring on labour because semen has some enzymes in it that can help soften your cervix (or something). No experience personally though, 25+5 with my first.

After getting to 42+3 I'd say nothing works and if it does it's coincidental. Tried every trick in the book with dd. was walking 3+ miles a day, spicy food. It's pap. The only thing that got things moving was the threat of induction. Had an appointment at 10am the day I had her but went into labour at 2am Grin

Midwife said I was in slow labour....have walked for an hour and planning on endless bouncing on the birth ball tonight (bought a new one) - sigh.
