You want some 'sock-ons'. Google them. Or from mothercare .

AmandinePoulain · 21/08/2013 19:26

You need these Grin

They sell them in Mothercare but I got some cheaper from Amazon Smile

hettienne · 21/08/2013 19:27

Surely this is what babygrows are for?

Ilanthe · 21/08/2013 19:27

There is no such thing.

These are what you need.

StarsAboveYou · 21/08/2013 19:27

Baby gap were they only ones that would stay put on DS.

These ones

JoinYourPlayfellows · 21/08/2013 19:27

Don't bother.

In summer, no socks.

In winter, footed baby gro.

Newborns look silly in anything other than a cosy onesie.

StarsAboveYou · 21/08/2013 19:28

I didn't like sock ons, I tried them but they seemed quite tight.

pootlebug · 21/08/2013 19:29

Summer - no socks
Winter - tights or babygro with feet.

AnythingNotEverything · 21/08/2013 19:31

I'm not are babies need socks in summer. This is not a battle I would pick to fight.

Ilanthe · 21/08/2013 19:33

Rompers need socks with them. Otherwise their feet get chilly, unless its 30 degrees out.

Razzdazz · 21/08/2013 19:36

Wow, quick replies. Due to have baby on 6th September and have a few day suits that are footless hence the need for socks.

Next socks stayed put, GAP were OK, M&S were ok and Mothercare were dreadful. I found this out in reverse order and wasted a lot of money on socks that would not stay put!

Doodlekitty · 21/08/2013 19:37

We used sock ins over baby grows as well, as he used to lift his legs out of them.

Didactylos · 21/08/2013 19:39

duct tape?
super glue?
stapler

probably best stick to sockons

BitOutOfPractice · 21/08/2013 19:41

BabyGap triple roll socks.

rootypig · 21/08/2013 19:41

We had a box of Trumpette ones that MIL sent. They are £££ but they did stay on until she discovered her feet and delighted in tugging them off and they still fit the still diddy 10mo feet

onlysettleforbutterflies · 21/08/2013 19:52

I found gap socks were the only ones that stayed on.

PenguinsDontEatKale · 20/01/2014 14:57

PacificDogwood · 20/01/2014 14:58

Baby socks are pointless.

Tights - 'tis the only way Grin

PacificDogwood · 20/01/2014 15:02

PenguinsDontEatKale · 20/01/2014 15:04
