I know think I'm being paranoid, but really hoping someone can put my mind at ease. I'm 12+1 and just started getting some cramps Sad Already have 1DS but had a MMC earlier this year so am extra scared in case similar happens again. Scan is tomorrow and I'm so stressed about it. Please tell me cramping at this stage can be normal? It's not very painful, and is coming and going.

it's probably your body moving everything getting ready for baby to grow, but if your really that worried call your midwfie :)

Hi sorry to hear about your mc.. This is my first pg but at the beginning 8-14 weeks I had cramping and slot of Sharp stabbing pain. Dr said it was my uterus stitching. .. Good luck with your scan & try not to worry. What will be will be xxxxx

I could be stretching pains I suffered with these and midwife said its everything moving into place to make room for baby x

Thanks all - the rational part of my brain is telling me its all normal, stretching type pains. The irrational part is telling me it's things going wrong. Just spoke to DH (he's at work) and he remembers me complaining of the same thing when I had DS so hopefully all will be ok. Will know at scan tomorrow afternoon anyway!

I had loads of cramps, aches and pains in the early stages. I remember one time and I could barely walk home from work it was so painful, a 5 minute walk took 20 minutes!

I agree with everyone else, its probably just your uterus stretching.

Good luck for your scan tomorrow.
