I was 34 weeks on monday and i seem to have got smaller? The top of my bump has gone very soft whereas before my bump was very hard. Is this normal? :)

Your baby might just be moving down into your pelvis in preparation for coming out, but I'm no expert. I think at this stage you should call your mw / go into clinic just to be on the safe side. At 34 weeks they definitely won't think you're wasting their time etc. congrats and good luck!

If you have had no loss of waters and baby is still moving as normal then has probably dropped into engaged position. Get checked out anyway no point in worrying. Good luck.

almost certainly your baby has gone head down and engaged in the pelvis
(some people call it lightening because you can suddenly breathe better and heart burn may reduce a bit...on the other hand the need to wee increases!!......)

look here for step by step changes www.pregnancycorner.com/being-pregnant/pregnancy-week-by-week/34-weeks-pregnant.html you will see you are textbook time for lightening

So long as your baby is kicking and moving don;t worry. If the movements seem less then do a kick chart...there should be approximately 10 kicks in 2 hours.
