So it would seem that I have begun nesting... This is odd!

I'm 32 weeks, and I am not usually the type to enjoy tidying and sorting. However, in the last few days I have organised the cupboards and drawers, getting rid of bags and bags of stuff. I have just sorted 6 years worth of paperwork into an a-z filing system, and have been unable to stop cleaning.

Anyone else gone a bit nesting mad or experienced this before? I just have such an urge to make space and have everything in its rightful place. DH thinks I may have gone loopy.

Yep! I have tackled all sorts of random household tasks over the last few weeks (insisting the skirting boards must be repainted, clearing out all the clutter, washing the leaves on my houseplants).

It settled down when i started to run out of energy but at 39 weeks i have been struck by it again and have just got myself stuck on the kitchen floor cleaning out some cupboards!

I think it's happening to me too at 32 weeks today. For the last two weeks I have been feeling really stressed and anxious about mess and not having enough space in the house. As a naturally very messy person I'm finding this really hard! My husband seems to be having even more nesting urges than me and everything in the house has to have a new and rightful place - I have to say he's been fantastic and has done loads :)

Yep, I even cleaned behind the microwave
And then rang my mother to tell her!

Clean how funny, I was a tad concerned I would get stuck today when I was waist deep in a cupboard trying to Hoover the corners.

Good to know I'm not the only one... It's taken me a bit by surprise!!
