Hi,
I'm 35 weeks with baby number 3 . On Thursday evening went into hospital after having contraction like pains coming every 3 mins. Cervix exam all fine, womb closed and baby fine.given paracetamol. Stayed in overnight and sent home.
Pains back again this evening for about 2-3 hours. Not sure what I should do??
Has anyone else had this?? Does it carry on till given birth? Is it likely to increase risk of going into labour early?
Don't want up cause a fuss but is bit 'normal'??
Thank you.
😊

I had this with dc2 in with false labour at 34 weeks. Braxton hicks got stronger (sorry) till dc2 arrived at 40+5.

Advice from midwife was to make sure well hydrated as being even slightly dehydrated can make braxton hicks worse. Try not stress as this too can make BH worse.

If it helps though my uterus was so used to contracting that didn't need to push dc2 out, just shot out while mw played catch. Good luck
