I'm awake (as I always seem to be) and didn't want to read and run. I'm not sure about relieving pressure in the pelvis as my baby isn't fully engaged yet at 38 weeks, but I do know that using a million pillows, taking indigestion remedy after dinner no matter what, and reading/going on Internet is making the nights slightly more bearable. I feel sad to lose the 'bump' but I'm pretty much losing it...I get 2-3hrs sleep a night and it takes me until midday to get out of a really bad mood every day (not taking it out on others - I can't face company until then anyway!!). I really sympathise - you're nearly there and I think warm baths, paracetamol, pregnancy ball and a lot of comfort food are potential remedies x

Oh I remember that feeling...I know you know, but it won't be much longer...even though everything is unbearable at the end, and walking up or down the stairs is like climbing Everest...it could be tomorrow or in a couple of weeks but it will pass!!!
And for me, even the exhaustion of a new baby is always so much better than not being pregnant any more!
For now, if you don't have other DC then just take it easy...sit around reading or watching TV, snooze, and don't expect anything from yourself.
