Does progesterone help with morning sickness?

Hi!

This is my 3rd pregnancy and I suffered from terrible morning sickness with my first two, even though the first one ended up being a m/c. Both were completely naturally conceived.

This time round, I am on progesterone supplementation But i am 5 weeks and have had barely any symptoms other than moodiness and some tiredness.

Normally at this point I would have started throwing up, so I am really worried this means something has gone wrong and just clinging onto the idea that the progesterone is somehow protecting me from sickness...

Does anyone have any knowledge on progesterone and morning sickness?

Thank you!

Not for me, have been on the 400mg suppositories since week 7 ( now 31) and I was, sick as a dog until about week 17.

It did take me until 8 weeks to have any symptoms so try not to worry, such early days.

Katielv7 i have a very healthy and happy 10 year old now! my pregnancy was absolutely hideous though: cervival cerclage at 14 weeks, bed rest, continuous pain, irritable uterus....had planned c section at 36 week, she was tiny and went straight to NICU...BUT we have a perfect child so it was all worth it.
