It's normal, everyone is different. I felt nothing clear at all until 22 weeks on the nose I got 3 sharp obvious kicks in the belly and he hasn't stopped since.

I didn't feel a thing until 20 weeks this time, because I have an anterior placenta, it was strange because I felt my first baby at 16 weeks.

Same as Kay, 20 weeks, anterior placenta. I was impatient too. Looking back I had felt it earlier but not realised, and I expect that's what the 'bubbles' are :)

on my notes i have an anterior plancenta too...does it mean you don't feel it as sooner as someone esle??

Yes, because its at the front where you feel the kicks. It acts like a big cushion, absorbing the impact. I think we will be grateful of that at the end :) I was worried/sad I'd not feel anything, but as I say I did at 20 weeks, and lots since then. I'm now 24 weeks. Just give it a couple of weeks.

Hi blonde anterior placenta here and didn't feel baby until about 21 weeks. DH at 24(ish).

Even until quite recently I could be having quite big movements but not feel them 'on the inside' - only if I had my hand on my belly.

The bubbling irritated me as well- especially when asked by Midwife if i'd felt movements. There are a lot of "FMF- not sure" written in my notes.
