1st period after pregnancy

I had my DD 4 weeks ago and stopped bleeding after 2 weeks. Just wondering when I am likely to get my first period?? Been having a few periodish pains on my left handside today so I don't know if its on its way? When did everyone else get their periods after having a baby

I think when you bf it takes longer to come back. My DD is 7 months and ebf. My first period was just after she turned 6 months by which tume i had introduced solids.

I ebf'd my baby and it came back at around 4 weeks.

No not breast feeding I'm assuming it will be soon tho??

Just wondering when AF returns after giving birth? I'm 12 weeks postpartum and ff (and have done since day one) and still no sign.
I took a pregnancy test (which is negative-phew!) and haven't DTD for 3 weeks so can't be pregnant! Any thoughts would be helpful!

I ebf and mine came back after 3 months!

I ebf and got mine back before my 6 week check up with the Dr!! Can't remember exactly when but was most annoyed!!

I think this can be very variable. I ebf and got mine at 5 months. A friend also bf and I think it was nearly 3 years!

Still waiting at 11 months here...

I don't know if mine came back or not! Stopped bleeding by 6 weeks but around 8.5 weeks postpartum I had this really light bleeding that I thought was the beginning of my period but it was sooooo light and kinda pink in colour. However, it did last 4 days (similar to a period) so I'm wondering if it was in fact a period or if it was just some random spotting from the birth. I'm hoping something shows up this week as that'll be 4 weeks since the little light bleed, which would indicate that it was a period! Ugh, so confusing!
