being completely paranoid having just read the website about the severe morning sickness thing

it said the the severe thing (HG) starts at around 6 weeks but normal morning sickness starts at 8-9 weeks well I'm 7 weeks in 3 days and I've been feeling sicky n and off for the last couple of weeks

m irrational side has now decidied that I'm going to develope the severe thing andit's terrified me

It's nonsense to think this isn't it, I feel the same way I did with my last pg and surely it would be severe straight away if it was going to be, noone in my family has ever suffered the severe thing and the 8-9 weeks thing for normal sickness is surely just a guidline so I should just shut up and stop worrying, please reassure me

sorry to ramble incoherently Blush

I hear you Pruni - I tried to get pregnant for 4 years and then that happened and it was almost impossible to be happy about what I wanted for so long. Now I am thrilled!! Because I adjusted and it got better. But it is bleak.

I have been on 2 different anti-sickness pills since I was around... 9 weeks and I have had to stay signed off. The last few weeks I could have gone back part time but my employers would only take me back full time which I just cant do. Also... sorry if tmi but around 16 weeks I started losing bladder control & getting nose bleeds when I vomitted. I just cant be trying to do that and get a days work done as well.

With ds (my first) I was sick the very next day - no joke. I continued to be sick every day for about 5 months! We were trying for a baby so I knew when I could conceive - didn't expect to know so soon though.

With dd (my second) it took a little longer and was not as bad at all.

Ah yes I had forgotten about the loss of bladder control and bowels at times due to the force of the vomitting. My G.P. also identified internal bruising in my chest region too from the repeated upchucking.
