Anyone else's Boots Parenting Club pack taken ages to arrive?

I handed in a completed form at Boots on 20 May. I phoned them twice in the meantime, but they said I need to keep waiting. Last week I emailed them to see where it is and they said it must have got lost in the post and they have ordered a new pack which will take another 4-6 weeks! I emailed them back to say that was unacceptable and my baby is due next week and that if that was the case I will have then waited 3 and a half months for the change bag! They replied to say sorry but the pack is sent by an outside company which they have no control over.

Anyone else experienced something similar? Poor isn't it!

I registered when I was 12 weeks, and I am now 38 weeks and not heard/had anything!!! Total waste of time I think.

I've just registered online for the parenting club and the confirmation message says they take 4 weeks to process. I won't hold my breath based on your experience.... but fingers crossed!

I got mine through in about 12 weeks. Nothing of any use in the pack. Change bag you seem to get in store when you buy newborn nappies and are a member of their baby club. I already have newborn nappies, so didn't bother.

with Claire on the waste of time feeling.

Oh my god me too! I'm waiting for the voucher to get the free changing bag and I first applied in April sometime. I've emailed 3 times now and 2 weeks ago they said they were re- sending it but still nothing. I'm so annoyed!

What do you get in the pack? I already had a Boots card so registered with the Baby Club online through that. I get a small magazine every quarter with some vouchers including the one for the changing bag if you buy a pack of newborn nappies. Never received anything else, I thought that was it!

To tell you the truth I have found Boots really expensive for baby stuff compared to other shops and online, even with the vouchers their stuff was more expensive so all I got was the changing bag.

Cornwall that is "The Pack" as far as i'm aware. Not bought anything for baby from Boots.
