I'm too hot and tired. I've had about 9 hours sleep since Wednesday and I feel rotten.

just come to bed and next door are blaring their music full blast and apparently having a garden party.

all I want is sleep and a cuddle and it's too hot for either of those things Angry

rant away fellow pregnant ladies. let your anger be free Grin

I was sick in public again today. I think it's the heat since I've not seen my morning sickness for weeks (20+6). I was in a huge shopping centre with my sister when I felt the need to puke my guts up and the only thing close to me was a recycling bin with four sections, labeled "metal, plastic, paper and other." I puked in the section labeled "other".

EmB1715 · 19/07/2013 21:23

Futterby, well done :) i think puke would safely be counted as other! Sorry you're both feeling rough :( i am too...absolutely no energy, headaches and feeling sick again. Is this heat related do we think?

Ra88 · 19/07/2013 21:26

my fans broken and everywhere is sold out Confused going to be a long night! go away sun!!

chillisbopper · 19/07/2013 21:41

I love the weather because it means I can get lots of laundry done without using the tumble dryer, but I'm hating being pregnant in this heat. My house is like a bat cave...all curtains/blinds closed to keep out the heat, windows open in hopes of a breeze. I walked DH out when he left for work after coming back for a lunch break and when I came back in the house I couldn't see a thing! Oh and I'm ignoring anybody that comes to the door so that I can walk around in my underwear lol Grin

I can't walk to the shops because the heat/brightness gives me an awful headache and all of a sudden I feel like I'm back in the first trimester (currently 21+1), I am sleeping sooooo much and have no energy Hmm. I also miss hugs but it's just uncomfortable to be hugged Sad.

I hope it's just the heat or I will need a new excuse for doing so little while DH is out at work all the time!

Oh, 39 weeks today with my very much wanted NOW baby boy. Safe to say I've had ENOUGH!

I resemble the wicked witch of the west. I feel ugly, I look ugly and found stretch marks on my ass! My catch line has been 'I'm mellting, i'm melllltinggg' all day and when DP has annoyed me (over silly things), my voice turns demonic apparently when I shout at him. :D

I'm hot. I've cried. I've cleaned...alot, out of boredom and I can't stop eating and peeing.

Feel sorry for you ladies being sick though. :( Get well soon. x

Starfishkiss · 19/07/2013 21:51

I'm hot, so goddamn hot! And so uncomfortable - no position is relaxing! I'm massive and still have more than 5 weeks to go! My feet and ankles are swollen and horrible. I need to wee ALL THE TIME, and I can't sleep for longer than an hour stretch. My toddler is feeling ill from the heat and just wants hugs all the time, but he is hotter than the sun and just makes me hotter! I can't leave the house as the heat and my belly just leave me breathless. Did I mention that I am so so bloody hot? .....Oh I could go on and on!! Thank you for letting me moan Grin

BumbleBeesGoBuzz · 19/07/2013 22:25

you're quite welcome starfish

oh is being very lovey and keeps trying to kiss and cuddle me because I look so miserable. have to keep slapping him away because he is like a freaking radiator.

I've just been sick too and its not morning sickness either (18+1) .this heat needs to bugger off now.

sorry to everyone who is feeling hot and bothered. it really does suck

I'm almost 39 weeks and so fed up. It's bloody roasting in our house. I've had to decamp to spare room as DH radiates heat and snores. I am up every 3 hours for a pee, everything is uncomfortable, my feet, ankles and legs get swollen after about 5 minutes of getting out of bed. Bloody heartburn is making me sick. Discovered stretch marks on underside of bump. DD is hot and irritable and wants to do activities all day every day and is having strops of a massive magnitude. Poor DD, think its all getting too much for her, but I'm bloody knackered too! And to top it all, work on kitchen started 2 weeks later than planned so going to have plaster dust to contend with next week. Oh deep joy.

Dexidoo · 20/07/2013 06:23

Nearly 36 weeks and hands and feet so puffy they hurt to move. Why is it the hottest it has been in 6 years now??!!!

urtwistingmymelonman · 20/07/2013 06:47

hi ladies!
all of the things mentioned above(20+3).
not being able to get a tan so walking around like a milk bottle while everyone else turns golden around me.
and having to empty the waste food bin into the larger one outside is the most pukey job at the mo(that and cleaning the loo).

lozza22 · 20/07/2013 10:46

Well i most certainly want a moan, im on a 12 hour shift in a mental health unit with 3 staff having called in 'sick' so im under alot of pressure as the only competent person in the building! my manager doesnt give a flying f**k and said get on with it!

And its about a hundred degrees in here to op it off!!!!! Really dont need this stress at 6 weeks gone. Rant over but feel suprsingly bit better for having just said that!

Now back to work.....

TinkyPeet · 20/07/2013 11:12

Ooooh a whinge thread! 40+1 today, my friend and nxt door neighbour who I enjoyed a daily pregnancy whinge with had her baby thismorning (40+2) ... And I'm still pregnant :( so while I'm very happy end excited for her, I'm very much the green eyed monster.
I'm hot, I'm grumpy, still having to do the daily ins and outs with other dc as dh not yet on paternity. I want to crawl under a rock and just hide, or give birth.
What I don't want to keep doing is the cleaning, washing, cooking, picking up after and generally being a Skivvy. But I am.
Feeling pretty lousy with headaches etc :(
Whinge whinge whinge :(

TangfasticMrFoxalastic · 20/07/2013 11:13

Nearly 34 weeks here, barely slept more than 4 hours a night, tired, bloated, breathless, queasy. Had enough. I currently rotate between rooms at knight depending on comfort:temperature ratio.
Now add hot grumpy toddler. Noooo! I want to go into work just to sit still in air conditioning :(

I do feel a little better for that

TangfasticMrFoxalastic · 20/07/2013 11:14

*night, though I could do with some knight in an air conditioned castle to whisky me away. He wouldn't even have to do anything else, just let me kip in his spare room :D

TinkyPeet · 20/07/2013 11:14

I also have horrendous heat/sweat rash in the worst place possible :(

BumbleBeesGoBuzz · 20/07/2013 20:24

another moan from today. I nearly passed out walking home. I could feel my pulse on my ears and felt really spaced. my dad just looked at me and said I was fine and asked me to make him a cup of tea!

slight sidetrack here but does that sound like blood pressure stuff and should I be worried?

chillisbopper · 20/07/2013 20:32

Bumble this happened to me, I posted on here about it if memory serves lol.

I was in the co-op on my own, standing in the queue, next in line but I came over so dizzy I couldn't stand there I needed to sit down so I walked out of the queue, didn't know what to do with my shopping when a boy opened another til right by a bench so I took it to him, I managed to get the basket down and ask him to bag saying I needed to sit. I could hardly hear myself talk it seemed so far away and everything was going blurry. Had a little sit down and they brought me water. Pins and needles in both hands for like 10 mins after. It was really scary to me as I've never passed out and I very nearly did. From what I got from the post I did and asking mw it's quite normal to get dizzy while pg and sometimes you need to stop and sit down until it passes.

If you're concerned about bp ask mw anyway as they are monitoring it so they will be able to tell you how it's been and if there's any concern although I imagine they would have said something by now if there was a concern, my mw checks at every appointment.

Hope you feel better soon Thanks

BumbleBeesGoBuzz · 20/07/2013 21:00

ooh thanks chillies it just felt so strange.

EmB1715 · 20/07/2013 22:56

Ah the passing out feeling...I've had this alot. Usually in shops weirdly enough. Blood pressure is fine so must just be exhaustion/hormones in my case, but definitely get checked out next time you see MW

chillisbopper · 20/07/2013 23:03

I should have mentioned, I hadn't eaten yet that day, I went through a phase of absolutely no appetite, like a bowl of cereal all day and nothing else kind of thing. So I think that had something to do with it too, if you're throwing up a lot or just not feeling up to eating then you can get quiet tired/dizzy going to the shops etc.
