im 8 weeks preg can I bleach my roots?

So I have bleached highlights and my hair needs doing really bad i will ask mw next week on first app but read different things on google does anyone know? xx

I've carried on with mine all the way through and my MIL is a hairdresser and carried on working with bleach each to their own all through with no problems, just be very careful, with highlights there should be absolutely no issues, its only when applied to the scalp ive found people get a bit

Just make sure the room is well ventilated, I nearly passed out in first pregnancy from the fumes!!

Also do a patch and strand test 24 hours in advance of each time, hormones do funny things to your body and have heard of people developing allergies, hair going funny colour etc.

The general advice I've had is highlights are fine, but you might want to avoid all-over colour. Basically avoid letting the dye sit on your scalp.

I've had foil highlights done throughout pregnancy.

I'm in the beauty trade and its absolutely fine, I plan to get mine done in a fortnight. The only problem I'm having is convincing my other half that its safe, he's a little wary of me having it done. In my experience with bleach highlights it may take quicker and it may take longer on your hair, just depends but with bleach it shouldn't go an odd colour...hope it looks lovely when its done :)
