Ok, so im 20+3. For the past few weeks ive been doing/saying crazy things in my sleep!! OH has said that i steal the covers at night and when he tries to get them back i sit up in my sleep and growl at hin like a dog!! he says i have full on.conversations with myself in my sleep and laugh hysterically etc.. ive never done this before so thought he was winding me up. Then downloaded the sleeptalk app on my phone and was absolutely SHOCkED at how much crap i chatted in the night!!!!

Dont even get me started on the dreams!! last nights one was crazy! I had a huge bump and baby was kicking and punching. But she punched so hard that her whole arm poked out and people were grabbin her hand through my skin! It felt so real and i woke up and RAN to the bathroom to be sick (first time since 8 weeks) ..

Just thought id.share and see if anyone else has gone crazy in pregnancy!? haha

I was going to post a very similar thread this morning but will instead comment on yours Smile

I'm 17:5 and have been having some really odd dreams too! I have always talked in my sleep so not sure on that one, but I have had some really violent and pretty disturbing dreams the last few nights. They seem to happen early in the morning after an early morning pee Smile

The first one was it was like I was in a computer game. I was walking around this house with a gun, and shooting people when they were in the rooms!

This mornings dream was I had walked into a room and my DH had murdered someone and I had to help him dispose of the body! I woke up glaring at my DH like it was actually true! lol

Just roll over if DH isn't there and think smutty thoughts about your favourite actor/postman/musician and hopefully you can engineer a nice dream! Wink

So glad I'm not the only one! I've had some nice rude dreams, but about people other than DH... And also some v violent dreams where I attack people who've mildly annoyed me.

The weirdest one was where the baby turned out to be a praying mantis. I was really disappointed but tried to love it anyway. Classic anxiety I guess!

I've had some nice ones too where birth goes well, and breastfeeding too, and felt really positive waking up.

mouseymummy · 18/07/2013 19:33

I've had some very very... Odd dreams!

I've got a 9mo and I'm 27 wks, so far I've told dh to stop the baby from coughing... Not sure how that's going to happen! I've also told him off for being on my side of the bed when I'm laid on him!

The other night, the baby woke up when we went to bed, I was trying to settle her back to sleep and fell asleep with her on me (im used to co sleeping but I don't like to in this heat) and I woke myself and the baby up by snoring and proceeded to tell dh that "his tossing and turning was keeping us up" he looked Hmm and just said "ok".

This heat has nearly killed

mouseymummy · 18/07/2013 19:35

Oops, presses post too soon!

Has nearly killed off any sex drive I had left and its also killed off my sexy dreams too. At least dh doesn't have to wake up to me moaning in ny sleep!!

Yup lots of strange dreams, luckily not violent ones, but lots that end with me waking up crying a lot. I've also done the stealing of sheets thing and telling dh off for trying to get some back, we've resorted to two just in case ... although not getting much use in this heat.

All seems pretty normal, v cool (terrifying) to record yourself in your sleep though!

Strangely dh is also talking more in his sleep and having strange baby dreams!

toni1bump · 19/07/2013 10:58

Haha!!! made me laugh reading all your replies!! im so glad its not just me!! :p and rollermum have u ever seen American.Dad?? well i.dreamt that my baby was born and looked like the alien (roger) off the show!! nearly had a heart attack!!

i think stealing covers and denying all knowledge is just a grl thing in general tbh!? :p x

Im 27+5 and I have had mental dreams all the way through this pregnancy. Sexy, scary, bizarre, the lot.

Last night I had an angry dream like one of the posters above mentioned and the night before I had a full on horror movie dream. It was horrible. Luckily they have been spaced out with funny bizarre ones like the one I had about the little people who worshipped a shoe. They had a funny little song that they sang about the shoe that got stuck in my head for days!

StaceyP85 · 19/07/2013 13:08

Seeing as I seem to be on a roll, this was last nights one.. but this had a different twist.

We had a baby girl, but the dream reminded me of family guy the series, it was like we had given birth to stewie!
The baby came out and seems to 'mature' within hours. She was talking and walking around, and was refusing to sleep in the moses basket we have bought as it was too 'cream'

Everytime I tried to get her to do something like sleep/feed etc she would tell me to 'sod off' in no uncertain terms. At the end of the dream she was sat in a babygrow on the sofa eating a sandwich and drinking a can of coke!

Proper weird!

Must be anxiety! Smile
