8+4 weeks and boobs stopped hurting

I have been very text book exhausted and sore throughout my pregnancy so far. This includes my heavy, sore and swollen boobies! But over the last few days they aren't! Im even wondering about the house without a bra on!!!! Mental.

All my other gifts are still there, exhaustion, dizziness, nausea (not really been sick thankfully). Had an early scan at 6+3 due to some bleeding and baby was fine - heart beating like mad.

I dont have any close girlfriends that have kids to ask or a Mother, so would like to know if I should be worried?

my sickness started to get better at about 9 weeks (i still felt exhausted!!) Someone told me this is normal as at about this point the placenta takes over so people often do feel better? don't know how true it is but was for me! x

My boobs were not the main issues and stopped hurting around 8/9 Wks. I wouldn't worry too much xxx

It's best not to worry about the presence, or lack of, of symptoms at that stage. My boobs have never really hurt during this pregnancy and I can feel my LO kicking away right now! :)

Completely normal! Mine were so uncomfortable at the beginning but at around 10 weeks, it completely stopped.

enjoyingscience · 16/07/2013 12:26

Mine stopped hurting around the same time. In fact, they are now back to their normal size (14 weeks). I feel a bit short changed - I was promised bigger boobs!

TwickyWoo · 16/07/2013 12:29

My boobs were really painful in the early weeks and I've gone up 2 sizes already! (I'm 17 weeks now) but I had a spell a couple of weeks back where they stopped hurting and almost felt like they were getting smaller again. I wouldn't worry - mine are sore, swollen and growing with a vengeance again, so I wish I'd enjoyed the couple of weeks where they were 'normal' now - haha! x

Thank you everyone! Its so hard to know whats normal isnt it? Especially with your first.

I'm 26 weeks and I've never had severe breast soreness but I've found they seem to go through growth spurts of soreness/swollenness and then periods where they're relatively comfortable. I wouldn't worry. (That's easy for me to say, isn't it!)

AnotherStitchInTime · 16/07/2013 17:46

If it helps, I haven't got much soreness at all this time round maybe because I am still breastfeeding my second child. In fact I have hardly had nausea and may be up to 12 weeks gone, surprise baby so not sure of dates yet. Can't do up my trousers though. I wouldn't worry about it, just be grateful you jump up and down or can lie on your front if you want to.
