Pregnancy Sickness - what happened in your next pregnancies?

Hello All

I have suffered bad sickness in my first pregnancy, really rough until approx week 22 (sick 5 ish times a day) then still sick every day until now (but only once or twice!) - I am 34 weeks.

I tried 3 lots of different anti-sickness meds which didn't do a thing!

I am just wondering if anyone suffered like this in their first pregnancy and then went on to have a 'normal' time in their second or whether I will be destined to be sick again?

Thanks

1st I was sick multiple times a day until after 35 weeks. 2nd I was sick multiple times a day until 30 weeks ( then when the sickness eased the SPD got bad and was on crutches from the day the vomiting stopped). Now with my third my sickness reduced significantly after about 11 weeks, now I am constantly feeling ill, but only physically ill about once a week!

Well I'm going to be a glimmer of hope for you...

My first pregnancy was awful, sick 5 times a day, felt like death. Then SPD took hold. I honestly didn't think I could go through with another pregnancy.

Currently pregnant with DS2 and although I felt sick in the first trimester I wasn't, and no SPD which really surprised me :) I'm also running around after ds1 and although I'm exhausted I'm very very thankful just to be suffering from only heartburn.

Let's hope the birth is more straight forward as well, had EMCS with ds1 after 3 days of contractions and waters breaking. I'm trying for a vbac this time, fingers crossed.

Pg1 - crippled with sickness at week 7, in and out if hospital with hyperemisis to week 15, then felt marvelous.

Pg2 - exactly the same, with the added bonus of looking after a v " busy" 2 year old.

Another glimmer of hope here!

Was sick every hour or so throughout the day (and directly after eating) with DS1 every day from about 8/9 weeks up until about 35 weeks and then from 35 weeks til birth was easily still up to 5 times a day

With DS2 I was sick maybe 2/3 times a day and it went at 14-ish weeks

Much easier!

V sick til about 20 wks with DS and then v sick all the way thru with DD. Sorry.

I was sick every day for 7 months with DD (first baby) and am now 18 weeks with DC2 and only been sick 3 times. Haven't even felt that nauseous - SO much better than first time round. Hope 2nd preg is easier for you too!

First, sick daily up to 4 or 5 times.
Currently 25 weeks with second and breezing through. About 8 mildly tough days early on and a few sporadic voms til about 18 weeks but really a walk in the park
compared to my first. It's a girl this time y'see, bless her ;)

Sorry mine has been far worse this time. Its been harder because I have a little one to look after but each pregnancy is different.
