gross question i know, but what does a mucus plug look like?

Never had it with DS, so i have no idea and scared to google, have just passes some clear jelly like stuff and was wondering if this was just discharge or is it part of it?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Mine was like what you've described...too much to just be discharge. I went into labour that same night! I was 40 + 2 though.

It was only a tiny bit tho, nothing to write home about, how much is to much

Not an absolute boat load or anything but it happened twice in evening when I went for a wee. Enough jelly-like stuff there and twice for me to go "huh, I bet this is my mucous plug."

It's just different, globbier, more jelly-like (tmi!).

Was it the stickiest substance known to man?! That's how I knew what it was last time. I had quite a lot though!

My midwife showed me mine and it looked like a small bloody brain. I'm so sorry. TMI.

Extremly thick, thicker than discharge. It's jelly like, doesn't always come out at once, might be some blood.

Brown thick discharge for me. I went into labour 12 hours later.

Mine was clear and jelly like, not massive either. My waters broke 7 hours later. Good luck!

Thanks all, still here and very much pregnant now tho, am still only 38 plus 6 but just fed up now wanna meet my Lil girl and with this heatwave coming there's even more of an incentive not to be pregnant!

Mine looked like an oyster (without shell) streaked with blood TMI ?

Mine was really bloody all three times. Perfectly fine but just to prepare you in case you panic.

I lost what I thought was mine one evening then lost loads more the next day, and the day after, and the day after for a week!
Mw said that can happen but I couldn't believe how much there was!
I only really lost mine on wiping though, never really collected on a pad.
