I'm pregnant...sorry another one of these threads but I need advice....

After x2 mc and dd who is just 1 dh & i have been careless while you know what and yup it's resulted in a + test...We were going to start trying for baby2 from July but given the fact it's taken 4 years and 2 mc's to get dd we didn't think things would move so fast iykwim...

DH & I have just done a test and it come back +. Im a mixture of feelings..excited as we so want more babies BUT now we have a positive reading it's kind of scary as there is no going back..Given our mc history we are not getting to excited iykwim but enough.
Those of you with 2 or more or pregnant now..how did you feel with the 2nd pregnancy..? Did you feel concerned and worried. I feel a bit bad for dd as it's as though we are replacing her with a her newer model ikywim...I don't want to miss out on her next 1st steps etc and talking etc and 1st things she will do now for life.
Anyone reasure me..????? Things are a long way off yet but it worries me....I feel a bit aphrehensive that we are not taking dd feelings into the equation..Mad pregancy hormones..???? please reasurre me...

yes I will be joining the boards but I will probably leave it a little while longer as don't want to tempt fate iykwim.

I should be due 31/01/07 and dd arrived a few hours aftre my due date so I guess I will aim for 31/01-01/02/07....will prob be on the Feb boards though like you said...

Thansk for everyone reasurring word etc. I really do appreciate it. BTW dh has gone out an got another preg test (digital) which has come back with a + again and he's got me folic acid. Bless him. xx

Hi SHHH. Congratulations. My ds is our second and while he is very different from DD, he is every bit as adorable.

I think I worry much less with DS. With DD I always looking for her next mile stone. Whereas with DS, I just sit back and enjoy him while he is young.

Hiya SHHH, I didn't take ADs during pg and I managed not to after DS2 was born (though I did get the prescription - I found just having the ADs in the cupboard helped me, but I'm a bit odd...!).

But I know there are MNers who did take them in pg and while bfeeding as they posted on the thread I started - I'll see if I can find it for you.

SHHHH, I put on 2lb less with my second pregnancy & lost it all pretty quickly after the birth. Running around after two children helps see to that!
