Ok so I'm now 25+2 weeks and needed somewhere to moan for some reason I forgot how awful some of the pregnancy symptoms are.

At the moment I'm suffering with constant heartburn (tried everything but always comes back after half hour and gaviscon makes me sick), restless legs, constantly tired from the moment I wake to when I sleep (iron levels are apparently fine) aching when I walk further than 5 minutes, uncomfortable sleeping, can't bend down properly and now getting very bad moods to the point I want someone to do something to make me mad so I can shout at them Hmm

Anyone else feeling this bad please come here to moan so I don't feel like I'm the only mardy pregnant woman out here Wink

Will try magnesium tablets, thanks for the tip. Grin

Op if you go to the gp they may give you something for the heartburn, mine was so bad I was vomiting they gave me omeprazole and it worked within a couple of hours.

One word - discharge. What the hell is that all about?!? and Miriam Stoppard doesn't mention that in the book mum gave me!

She doesn't mention the post birth bleeding either, and as far as I can gather from MN, that is worth mentioning.

I felt poisoned until the end of week 13. I was expecting sickness, but the awful debilitating toxic feeling - hadn't bargained for that. Hip pains that stop me from moving are fun, feeling guilty for everything, pelvic floor muscles already proving they are crap everytime I sneeze or cough, the list goes on...I am enjoying the way everything tastes AMAZING though. DP got me an orange and lemonade in the pub earlier and it was like nectar of the gods.

Hmmm will defo try magnesium supplements if that helps :)

I did seem to forget all the bad stuff about being pregnant when I had my ds and silly me went and got pregnant again and now it seems like I'm suffering twice as much as I did with my ds Hmm.

even my midwife said that I don't seem to be having a very good pregnancy this time. Hmm

Seriously that's it no more babies for me we will have 1 of each as well so we have no reason to try again, no reason for me to suffer for 9 months again and no reason for me to get angry that my partner still gets to keep his body the same, enjoy himself, feel no aches and pains and can do pretty much the same thing he did before I got pregnant Hmm.

Does anyone else get jealous of the fact that us women have to go through so much but the men don't? Literally I get mardy over silly things like he can go to a theme park and go on rides or he can go swimming and go on flames etc (not that we ever go to theme parks and our local swimming pool with flues is 30 miles away but I still get mad over it lol.

I had a huge melt down the other day due to suddenly coming to the realisation that nothing will ever be the same ever again, and that I have very little control over my body anymore.

And the only difference for DH is on one day his wife is pregnant an the next day he has a baby. No bleeding, no leaking out of places, no stretch marks, no pain.

Maybe I'm being a bitch, and I do feel better after my rant, and he took it well.

The Alton towers adverts are mocking me as well. Grin
