Has anyone given birth there, and was it nice? Only able to see an online tour, and far more interested in real life experiences.
Any comments, good or bad, welcome. Thank you!

I had DD at Kingston. MW led unit was full so I ended up in the labour ward. Best thing for us..given DD's birth. MW went and got some side lights to make it 'softer' for us and put some music too.

Labour ward also has a birth pool now too. MW led only had 2 birth pool but may have more now.

I was mis- manage with DD but that was due to a whole host of reason. But 3 of my friends had a very good happy birth at Kingston. Gets busy, but everywhere does.

I had a really good experience in October 2010, room with the pool was fabulous - I got it within probably 40minutes of checking in. Had straight forward birth, midwifes were good as long as I remember (I must admit I don't remember many details as was a bit high on G&A). Hoping to get in with the second baby within the next couple of weeks!

My sister was had her ds there and i was with her through out, the mw there were really good and the whole place was nice, clean and friendly. I am 7 weeks and am having mine there and it's about the only thing i'm not worried about :)
