I'm nearly five weeks, and I am experiencing the same sort of pain I get during my AF.

I have suspected endo, the gynaecologist believes that's what is causing my painful periods. But I didn't go for the op because of wanting to TTC #2.

I remember with DD I had some cramping at the first stages and incredibly sore breasts. I did have sore breasts with this pregnancy, but they have gone ok now :(

I have an appointment with the Nurse this morning for my hayfever. But until then can someone give me a slap some reassurance?

I had endo with my first pregnancy and it was all fine. In fact pregnancy cleared it up.

Imnot - me too. Was better while I was pregnant than it had been in years.

OP, period type cramping during first trimester is totally normal Smile

Thanks for the reassurances. I think I might settle down more once I've had my first scan :)

Fortheloveofsocks, I have endometriosis and for the first trimester still had a lot of the usual pains which did worry me. Mw advised it was nothing to worry about and probably just scar tissue being stretched which would explain the pain and make sense. Since about 16 weeks it has been much better and I'm hopeful that could be it. I know it's easier said than done but try not worry too much, it's great you've got pregnant and the endo shouldn't cause any issues x

I think I may have had endo - very painful periods and years TTC - yet got pg before the lap. Anyway am now 35 weeks and not had pain in that area at all (yet!). Fx.

I experienced all of my normal pains and worse during the first trimester. I also have adhesions caused by removal of a cyst years ago and they were causing terrible pain. It went away until recently, now they are playing up again a bit as I guess they are being stretched at 28 weeks! Endo and period type pain hasnt come back though :)
