Not really had many problems with my teeth apart from having a brace at 14 and when my -not so much- wisdom teeth came through.

Since being pregnant I've had to double my daily care and still have been waking up with terrible tooth/jaw ache the last couple of days.

Current waiting to be seen. Am a little scared. Also had to private as no one near taking on NHS patients except one surgery, who can't see me for 3 months after registration! Shock

Help!

I have my third trip to the dentist on Monday. I'm 33 weeks. So far one filling, a cleaning, and a bit of my tooth fell off! All fine - used to be really scared of the dentist but the one I go to now is lovely.

I can totally sympathise . I'm currently Week three into a dental nightmare...the one tooth needed filling twice, then I had it pulled and now I have dry socket which is inflammation down to the bone. I'm trying to smile about it all though and I have to say my dentist has been wonderful. Apparently there is a old saying about having a child and losing a tooth . Good luck and remember you'll be just fine!

They were really nice and only did a checkup for me today. I've got to have a proper clean done in 2 stages as I have an infection where my wisdom tooth hasn't cut thru properly. And i need a filling in the tooth just infront of it. ive never had/needed a filling before. Sad
He's given me a discount as well (didn't mention it at the time, saw it on my bill - maybe because I'm pregnant??)

Also the receptionist brought me an ice cold bottle of water and 2 biscuits when I had a hot flush. She stated one was for me and one was for the baby! Smile

Overall a lovely experience. See how I feel on Monday after the filling is done!
