Pregnacare (supermarket brand)

Does anybody take the supermarket brand? I've been buying Pregnacare but at £15 a pack I just can't afford that! Tesco has some for £3 same ingredients! but I wasn't sure, so i normally just stick with a brand I know..

15 pound! Which are u getting? I have been buying the pregnacare preg vits the monthly packs at around 3.50?? X

P.s if going for supermarket brands just take 5 mins to compare it with pregnacare ones xx

I bought a pack with Omega 3 for £14.99 from Boots. I went to Morrisons and they were selling the same pack for £11

Anywho, I've just been to Tesco to pick some up and there the same price as boots, and like boots, they didn't have the smaller pack in stock so I just bought a Tesco brand instead.

I'm taking the boots version of the pre-conception vits. I used the pregnacare ones last time round but a quick scan of the back of the pack suggested they were pretty similar in content just a great deal cheaper. Do feel a little bad for potential dc2 though, what if pricey vitamins are what has made dd the utterly wonderful little person that she is?

My midwife advised me to take vitamin D and folic acid separately, not combined pills. I was recommended 500 dose of folic acid, and the mixed pills only contain 400.

I take the Tesco ones and have been since the beginning, spoke to midwife he said they are exactly the same :)

I'm taking Sainsbury's own pregnancy supplements. There's not a great deal of difference between them and Pregnacare except these were cheaper and on a 3 for 2 deal :)
