Morning sickness: diarrhoea instead of vomiting?

I'm 6+3 and been feeling a bit nauseous for the last week. But instead of being sick I'm having a really upset stomach instead.

It happened badly on Sunday and again today, with occasional upsets in between, so I don't think it's a virus. I don't feel ill/crampy as I would with a bug either.

has anyone else has diarrhoea instead of vomiting? I'm a bit nervous of it continues as I have to travel lots for work!

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I did have this for a few weeks, probably from 5 up until about 8 when it changed to feeling really nauseous (but was never sick). I think its relatively common and although inconvenient I thought it was better than vomiting and I lost a few pounds too, which was a bonus! I'm sure it will settle but you could ask GP or midwife if there is anything you can take during pregnancy.

I have had the same problem , lie clockwork, every morning then I'm done for the day! A bit like some people have morn sickness I guess, I come over all sick and dizzy then have to rush for the loo! Is easing off now, am 10 weeks but it started from 6 weeks, hope you are ok, not pleasant but like a lot of symptoms it does ease off....change to something else annoying!!

Thanks both.

I agree that diarrhoea is better than vomiting. At the moment I feel like either might happen.

I had to cancel a nice evening out at pizza express Sad

I feel bad for complaining, it's taken me 2 1/2 years to get pregnant and I lost my last baby. I shall embrace this as a sign my hormones are doing their thing!
