Has anyone had low placenta and regular bleeding/spotting during 1st trimester?

Am currently on bed rest for this and am boorrreed and frustrated! Started spotting at 7 weeks and went for scan. Baby fine and given progesterone pessaries as a precaution. Spotting carried on (mostly brownish) and had one small bleed which was bloody scary. Rushed home to look at MN and see if I was having a mc!
Told placenta was completely covering cervix at 10 week scan but baby still fine. Had to double progesterone treatment. I was told to stay resting on sofa as much as possible and that it was extremely likely that placenta would move away.
Most of the time I feel fairly OK, just bored and frustrated, coupled with morning sickness and general knackeredness. But sometimes I get scared.
I guess I want to know is what is causing the bleeding/spotting - is it just dripping through from the placenta?? Shouldn´t my cervix be closed??
This is my 3rd pregnancy and I have had 2 previous C sections.
Anyone else been through something similar. When did placenta move up out of the way??

I had placenta praevia with DD1and2.

With DD1 this was diagnosed at 20 week scan, no problems until week33, then admitted until planned CS at37.5 weeks.

With DD2 I asked about location of placenta at 13 week scan, was told sonographer couldn't see placenta so either top or bottom, confirmed as PP at20 week scan.

I wasn't put on bed rest, but with DD2 admitted at 24 weeks, then only allowed to work part time from home.

It is deadly boring, really frustrating. Try to focus on your goal, the baby.

Your cervix is closed, as it is when you have a period, blood can still get out.

I was told that there are2 kinds of PP, stable and unstable, unstable results in bleeding.

My placenta didn't move either time. You should get scanned again at 34 weeks to see if the placenta has moved.
