Hi - I'm wondering whether anyone has a recommendation for a personal trainer who is qualified and experienced with pregnant women...
I am 5 weeks and would really like some guidance on exercise. My exercise in the past few months has been a bit sporadic but I really want to get into a good routine now!
Many thanks!

Most won't accept you unless you've already been working out with them beforehand so they know you and your body. Mine certainly won't. Good luck looking though!

Pali, I CAN work with you....text me on 07841 463 942 and we can arrange to meet up. I have trained many women through pregnancy from conception to 8 months pregnant. Cheers, Lorna www.PassionateAboutFitness.com

I have been looking through many threads and personal trainers training women pre and post pregnancy.. Although, I find that most of the trainers themselves do not have kids.

I find it hard to understand how some personal trainers can relate to their clients without having experienced childbirth and the body dilemmas themselves.

I being on the other spectrum
I am wanting to be a personal trainer, being a mum of four children, 9 twins at 5 and a 4 year old

I am very much into my fitness and being a mother I find if I do start personal training that I will have an understanding of what women go through and how to get their bodies to how it was.

Back when I was fit, I had a brilliant personal trainer at Matt Roberts. they have 4 or 5 private gyms (I used south ken) and they certainly offer a "back in shape" post baby programme, so could be worth checking to see if they do one whilst you are pregnant. I loved the private gym, having it cool and virtually empty whilst exercising was soooo much better than my farty sweaty local virgin active!!
