70% sure it's a girl

Had the 20 week scan and the doctor was 70% sure it's a girl (baby was in an awkward position). Bit of a surprise, I have a son and hadnt thought we would have a daughter.

She also said not to do any shopping yet (due another scan on 1 August) ...which I haven't quite kept to - but if it is a boy, I can give the stuff I've bought to others as presents.

I bet it will be a girl! If they didnt think they knew the wouldn't have said anything (from personal experience)

Thanks Mumto. I am quite excited now. I was a bit shocked because I know how to be the mum of a boy but wasn't so sure about a girl.

I wouldn't be so sure, our girl at 20 weeks had turned into a boy by 26 weeks !!

Well, if that happens I'll have to give the stuff I've bought to people as presents. I have been getting excited about buying stripy tights, which I probably need to curb.
