Just that really .... I am currently 8 weeks pregnant with DC2 and DC1 is 6 and half months old. Just wondered if anyone else is in a similar position and how you are feeling /coping etc....??? I had terrible sickness with DC1 from 4 weeks to point of not been able to get out of bed ! I have felt ok so far but in the last couple of days been starting to feel awful and i am really worried it will happen again ! Btw dc2 was a happy 'accident' but we are very happy and excited.....if not a little nervous .

Thanks all x

Come and join us on the January 2014 thread. There is at least one lady who will have a very small age gap.

It'll be fine! Mine are 18 months apart and the sickness part of pregnancy was quite hard, but it passes. I loved having 2 with a small age gap.

I had a 11 month gap between my dc and twins. I was doing night feeds whilst suffering from morning sickness. Ugh was so draining.

But all is good now there here lovely age gap. It is hard but they play so well

Hi ladies,

Thanks for your replies . My DD loves playing with other babies so i am really looking forward to the nice age gap between them. Luckily i am not still doing night feeds and getting a good nights sleep which helps - DD goes to bed at half 6 till 6am for feed and then goes back down for a bit longer - although i am still totally exhausted !!

I will have join the Jan 2014 thread thanks - which when you put is that way doesn't sound too far away - woah !!

Lady - twins !? wow that must have been hard going at the beginning - we have twins on both sides of the family ....there is a chance !

4 months between 1st n 2nd pregnancies,n 6 months between 2nd n 3rd. Then 5 mnths between 3rd n 4th ( due on thurs, please come out soon!) Small gaps are both hard work and rewarding. organisation is key! For me, I found with each addition i've had to pare back the frills (from leisure time, to cutesy clothes, to how much stuff you carry in the nappy bag) things get ever more practical!! But the 3 of them are great buddies and long may that last. You'll find most responses tell you 'hard work but worth it'.

Enjoy the ride, why not?! It doesnt last forever. Hope the sickness improves so you can enjoy your pregnancy, I admit I didnt have that issue. good luck x

I am almost 5 months pregnant with my second and my first baby is 8 months, at the beginning it was really hard and i did struggle mainly the tiredness as dd dosent sleep though the night, the nausea was also bad but now I'm feeling much better you will get used to the lack of sleep and soon will feel better. I'm am shitting myself about having two small babies but hey it's better to get the sleepiness nights and hardwork out the way at once! Good luck! :)

hi boop.. I only wish! still very pregnant, due today. not a sign of anythin happenin at all :-/ Very hard tryin to keep up with other 3, feel bit inadequate... but hopefully once baby comes n I recover a bit I will have some energy back for them. last few mnths i've just been a huge plodding uninspired uninspiring mum! looking forward to getting back more like myself. so if you feel that way towards end of your pregnancy, be aware its normal!! xx

islasmummy2013 · 01/06/2013 21:06

I'm 6 weeks pregnant and my dd is 17 weeks! Iv been lucky as I have no sickness and dd is good as gold.
I'm hoping things don't get to much as I was completely exhausted throughout my last pregnancy and that was without a baby to look after!

I wish you the best of luck with everything, and congratulations! Smile

I got pregnant when twins were 6mo old. I'm now 13+4 with 2nd set and twins are 37 weeks old. I've hardly had any symptoms but I'm dealing with LAF in twin1 so I'm cautious and unable to do much however we're coping really well. Not exhausted hoping 2nd trimester is less stressful.
