That's it really.

I'm 33 weeks with ds2. This pregnancy has been fecking awful and I'm so fed up. 5 months of morning sickness, full on spd that's now agony. And gastric issues which mean I cannot eat for pleasure!

Only thing that hasn't hurt yet are my hands and feet.

Anyone else want a gratuitous moan. No judging allowed.

I've just had my 31 week appt and the LO is now 4.5 weeks ahead rather than 3 weeks so I'm off for another GTT then a scan. She is head down and very low which explains the pain but not engaged yet (TFFT). I am monstrously huge and have 9 weeks left, yikes!
This is hard work - the question is - once they're out will we wish they were back in and quiet again Wink

sjuperyoni · 29/05/2013 17:42

God help me if this dc doesn't put me in my grave - lower back pain, shooting pains up my fanjo and contraction like tightenings at the top of my bump :( phoned nhs 24 i've to call the hospital in an hour if i'm still in pain :( TMI here too - my last two pees have stank of vinegar or something else utterly foul Blush

I'm misersble and sore :(

Bunnychan · 29/05/2013 17:51

Sjuper- I think you should take a sample to get checked- you may have a uti which would effect your urine and cause pains x

sjuperyoni · 29/05/2013 18:04

Thanks bunny - I'll most likely end up in maternity triage this evening, i'll definitely get checked as i had a uti 2 or 3 weeks ago and whilst the urine wasnt normal it wasn't as bad as this :( x poor dp and my mum are at panic stations every time i move or go ''oooooft'' at a pain Blush

sjuperyoni · 29/05/2013 19:04

Midwife on phone at triage says definite uti - paracetamol for pain and drs tomorrow for anti biotics. This baby had better cure cancer or something equally important the grief she's gave me Wink dd1 and ds were easy in comparison Hmm

LittleMilla · 29/05/2013 19:09

Sjuper, doesn't sound brill but you appear to know already what's going on. Hope it's all ok.

Any second/third/fourth timers I have a qu. My ds1 was overdue and breech so I had a planned c section once they knew.

I remember being told that he was 3/5 engaged at about 34 weeks but that was obvs his arse and meant nothing. Of my baby is locked and loaded now, could that mean he might make an early appearance?!?!?

Or is that wishful thinking...?

Oh, you do all have my sympathy! I'm almost 30 weeks and lucky not to have any spd or anything, but, aside from feeling massive, uncomfortable, breathless and having lots of backache, I've also started getting raging Braxton Hicks whenever I set off to do anything (leave home for work, leave my desk to get lunch, go to the water cooler, etc). They don't hurt but are v v uncomfortable, take my breath away and make me feel like I'm about to wet myself! They are making getting around a lot more of a chore.

BelleEtLaBaby · 30/05/2013 18:21

Can I jump in for a winge? I HATE pregnancy although I LUFF the babies. I'm 25 weeks and I've booked my tube tie already lol.

I wet myself at work today whilst being sick. I'm a teacher and this was five mins before a class. I had to phone the office on my mobile and ask a colleague to come get me as I couldn't leave the toilet and walk past all the students. She cancelled my class (I work in a college) and rescued me. As we work in the drama department, she raided the wardrobe store and brought me the only trousers which would fit me: the back half of a white pantomime horse costume.

No. Dignity. Left. At. All. Is is September yet?? (Edd 6.09.13) :(

LabradorMama · 30/05/2013 18:34

Haha joanna1990marie sorry to make you wet yourself!! You are so right about paracetamol, might as well be popping Smarties Smile

LabradorMama · 30/05/2013 18:38

Ezza1 I'm with you on the nipples! When I get cold it feels like someone is trying to hack them off with bits of broken glass (should have seen my MWs face when I told her that) Only thing that helps is hugging a hot water bottle. I am dreading breast feeding!!

joanna1990marie · 30/05/2013 19:01

Well if they don't help with back pain....bloody midwives tell you to take it in early labour!!! .......nah, I'll just have a glass of rosé and a nice bath when my contractions kick in! 40 weeks pregnant btw!

sjuperyoni · 30/05/2013 19:16

Feel so much better now I have anti biotics although my bones ache and moving really does need that 8 point turn!

LittleMilla · 30/05/2013 19:26

Belle, that's hilarious! Sorry to laugh at your misfortune, but I fear that this is the only way for us to remain sane.

I've just had the indignity of having the male gp inspect my bum hole. Confirmed that I have a grape sized pile. Only when I got home did I realise that my whole butt crack was smeared in anusol, which made the train wreck of a site look EVEN worse. Dear god. It even hurts to fart ffs!

I would love to see a man go through what us women have to go through during pregnancy! It's blooming awful but worth it in the end - however, sometimes I wonder why the heck I'm putting myself through all this again! Take care.

BelleEtLaBaby · 01/06/2013 18:50

Laugh away (dh actually cried with laughter): just don't wet yourself ;) x

LittleMilla · 01/06/2013 19:44

Just to add further insult (and indignity), piles are now bleeding.

I'm now terrified about giving birth tbh Hmm.

Oh, and a new symptom. Sporadic shooting pain down my right leg when walking. Out of nowhere. I look like a freak as I almost crumble every time it happens!
