Don't ask me how I know that is what I want, I just know! What can I eat instead that will satisfy the craving?

Carmenere I did the sponge thing too! NEVER mentioned it to anyone as I thought they would lock me up!
OH and Ice... loved to crunch ice

SaintGeorge · 23/05/2006 13:12

Chalk for me too - that was calcium deficiency, so I ate loads of cheese to make up for it. (I hate milk yuchhhhhh)

Oh Carmenere and Runmum!

At last I am no longer on my own.

I love sponges. I could sit all day and sniff and chew them.

Am no longer embarrassed by this Grin

Wallace, how about some Ice?

Carmenere · 23/05/2006 13:34

Oh I wish I had known about mumsnet when I was pregnant as I looked everywhere for info about craving sponges and just thought I was weird. But now I know I'm not (or at least you 2 are too Grin).
I used to crunch ice cubes too rummum, I went through a huge bag from the supermarket one hot afternoon Blush

Actually charcole is one of the more common of the wierd craving IYSWIM. Go to a health food shop and buy some charcole biscuits. They are disgusting and black and probably exactly what you want! I only craved ice lollies when I was pregnant - how boring is that.

YellowFeathers · 23/05/2006 13:45
