Indian head massage during pregnancy?

Thought it would be a nice 30th present for sis in law - she's around 30weeks pg, obviously don't want to get her something she's unable to use ... So are they safe whilst pregnant?

It really depends in which type...a lot of then focus on pressure points and my masseuse told me not to have one as it could trigger labour (age is 80 and knows a lot). So I then went to a spa that had special pregnant massage..

Hello. There are pressure points to avoid but all Indian Head Massage training courses should teach therapists these. I am pregnancy massage therapist and often use Indian Head Massage as so lovely and relaxing for pregnant ladies. If you are unsure you could always book her a reflexology session (similar price) again look for a pregnancy specialist.
