Hi all - I'm a regular poster here but name changing as I'm quite recognisable in rl under my normal name (not in a famous way - just to people who know me!)
Just wondering what the earliest people have ever had morning sickness. Basically had just started the pill about 2 months ago, then 2 weeks ago (the day after my af had finished) we had a condom breakage issue. Didn't worry too much but then realised (too late) that i'd had really bad runs that week and it may well have interferred with the pill working (various reasons mean it was the first time i'd been on the pill in sbout 10 years), so had kinda forgotten about that being an issue.)
Today i've been feeling so nauseous but not actually feeling ill - just that horrible feeling that i could be sick at any time. Other than that, and feeling very tired, i feel healthy. Now i know people get nauseous, and i have tummy troubles often anyway, but this feels different. The last time i felt like this i was pregnant with my ds.
I know I'm being silly. Thing is, we have a year old ds, we're in our mid 30s and although we'd both like another one I suspect it won't happen (i had fertility problems, now resolved, then i was very ill in my pregnancy (this is what puts dh off having another), and financially it would make things difficult). So in that respect i'm a bit worried! But on the other hand, we love being parents, we are so happy and we know in our hearts we'd love another child - but the sensible part of us means we are very wary about deliberately ttc (hence the doubling up of contraception). And time isn't on our sides. This week i've also been very anxious - and that was a symptom of my last pregnancy.
So to try and stop rambling - morning sickness after 2 weeks of a potential conception is very unlikely, isn't it? I'm a loon, right? And my rambling is clearly a sign that actually i kinda want it to be pregnancy, isn't it. Cos I kinda do, even though it's stupid. Damn.
