Tachycardia (heart beat over 100bpm)

Hello,

Has anyone else been diagnosed with this? My heart beat is frequently over 100bpm, and goes as high as 150bmp when I'm walking (not fast). It tends to be in the 70s when I'm lying down.

I saw a cardiologist last week who said it was just a normal pregnancy thing (I'm 19 weeks) but it doesn't seem to come up as a common thing.

I've got low blood pressure too and am quite small so he reckons it's just my body trying to handle the extra blood.

Anyone else in the same boat?!

Yes but the only time it has been a problem was when I was in labour with DD2 and was made to have an ECG before I could get in the pool because I was so tachycardic.
