Doula decision and letting them know

I interviewed a few doulas for my birth, and because they were all so lovely, I am now having a hard time telling the ones I'm not going for "thank you very much but..."

Has anyone been in this situation? What have you said to them? Or have you just not bothered telling them? (Kind of like a job interview: "we'll call you if we want to hire you" then leaving it in the air).

thanks!

Ingunn

Surely if you went for a jib interview and didnt get the jib you'd want a note letting you know? And if they are so lovely isn't it all the more reason?

I'd let them know, its just courteous.

Hello, I'm a doula - just send them an email, saying thank you for their time & that you've decided to go with another doula just because it felt 'right' - that's absolutely fine, you won't offend anyone! :-)

I agree with CalltheDoula - that will be fine!
