Disclaimer: totally non scientific and lighthearted anecdotal thread.

First pregnancy I had no morning sickness whatsoever, no nausea, not even a whiff. Full of energy. Had a girl.

This pregnancy: sick as a dog. Cannot believe the difference. Will I have a boy this time? :)

I was sick as a dog first time - boy
Only slight sickness for a week this time... But don't know gender yet
So no help at all really, but I do wonder though...

Maybe we can report back in a few months...

Hmm..felt really sick all the time last time - boy.

Feel less sick and kind of different this time. I'm saying girl.

TheCountessOlenska · 26/04/2013 18:11

I had much worse sickness with second pregnancy - first DC girl, second DC boy. So I predict BOY Grin

JustCallMeBaldrick · 26/04/2013 18:15

I was sick till 16 weeks with DTSs.. Thought singleton pregnancy would be better...
Nope. I was sick till 18 weeks with DD.

YouDontWinFriendsWithSalad · 26/04/2013 18:20

OK so far it looks like I'm either having a girl, a boy, or twins.

I have 2 girls and a boy and wasn't sick with any of them .

Twinklestarstwinklestars · 26/04/2013 18:26

All my pregnancies have been different, night sickness with ds1, mostly night sickness but other times with ds2 but was really poorly most of the pregnancy and had SPD and high blood pressure with him too, this time I have rarely been sick but felt nauseous all the time and have had bleeding throughout but don't know what this one is yet.

Gimmeechocolate · 26/04/2013 20:39

I was sick most days with first pregnancy but once I'd been sick I felt ine.

With second pregnancy I wasn't sick very often but felt sick in the mornings.

Third time round I felt sick almost 24 hours day and night but was rarely sick.

I have three girls!

Exactly the same as Polka to the point I was worried at scan they would say there was no baby I was just getting fat. Was sick for 8 out of 9 months with DS and hardly anything this time but will have to wait till 20 weeks to see what this one is.

amessagetoyouYoni · 26/04/2013 20:44

First pregnancy was straightforward and pretty text book. Morning sickness for first 3 months, felt Ok for rest of it. Was enormous. Went 2 weeks over due and had a pretty traumatc birth. BOY.

Second pregnancy couodnt have been more different. Felt horrendous the whole time. Hyperemesis and then OC. Carried small and neat. GIRL, born 3 weeks early.

CareerGirl01 · 26/04/2013 20:46

Two very different pregnancies - both girls. Put on weight differently, had no sickness with no1, weird cravings with one and not the other.

KelleStar · 26/04/2013 21:41

No nausea, SPD, lots of energy, overdue 6 days = DD

Nausea, no SPD, low energy, overdue 7 days = DS

seekingpeaceandquiet · 26/04/2013 21:45

First pregnancy I had HG..in hospital 7 times on a drip..no energy -- had dd.

This time sickness eased off at 18 ish weeks.. still being sick in the morning though and scans have said im having a boy. will know for sure in a few days.
