I went out yesterday for dinner with my dad, I ordered the fisheries as I usually do when we ho here and when it arrived it was a little different than usual but I thought nothing of it.
It usually has a mustard cream dip but had a yellow sauce on top so I just carried on eating.

When we got desert I checked the menu and it was hollandaise sauce which obviously contains raw egg.

I feel fine, should I be worried?

No don't worry!

If it was a pub lunch type place the. Likely to be jar holland arise, which is fine, as is mayo, both use pasteurised eggs. Even if it was somewhere that makes their own its likely they used lion branded eggs, which are salmonella free.

So many things to worry about when pregnant. With dc1 I'd have been panicking. Been much more laid back this time! Enjoy your pregnancy.

Dreadful typos, sorry!

Thanks Hp, this is dc2 for me too I'd probably been in hysterics on the phone to mw with dc1.
Thought I'd just check with the wisdom of the mnetters before I panicked.
It was a restaurant and I'd imagine it would be made there but thought it would most likely be lion eggs.

Hollandaise is cooked, unlike mayonnaise. It's fine.

Restaurants have to use Lion Eggs by law I believe. Plus as above, it's cooked out ;)
