How much weight did you gain pregnancy?

and how much did you lose after the baby i gained 30lb on my 4th child and lost all of that when he was born on my 5th pregnancy i have gain 20lb so far xx

I put on 3 stone both times. Lost all but 3lbs or so the 1st time, this time I still have 10lbs to lose but DD2 is only 6mo so it's a work in progress :)

I put on 13lb with my first and lost 20lb the day of the birth, then put on 28lb with my second and lost 18lb the day of the birth, and the other 10lb is still hanging around somwhere.

I put on about 4.5 stone in each pregnancy. Lost it all plus a bit within a year of the first one. Lost most within a year with the second one but then put about 1.5 stone back on. Lost it all eventually :)

1st 5lb and lost 1st 6lb by the end of the 2nd week postpartum. But I had morning sickness then GD and was in the strictest low GI diet ever

First pg I put on about 3 stpne and never lost any of it, just slowly put more on over the years

However, for pg 2 (I am currently 40+2) I have actually lost about a stone whilst pregnant so can't wait to see what I weigh once I have had the baby

Ok i don't know pounds... But i started at 52kg...probably far too underweight for my 5'11 frame...went to 69kg at 9 months...now 2 years on i am 67kg... Would like to be 60kg...

I've lost weight in all four. Two stone with DD and about a stone with the three boys.
I've managed to munch it all back on and more afterwards though

I lost about a stone in my first pregnancy (interestingly my weight remained the same after actually giving birth) and managed to put two and a half stone back on. Lost a stone of that before conceiving again and have lost another stone or so during this pregnancy (am 37 weeks). I'm really hoping some more disappears with the baby this time. And I'm going to capitalise on the weight loss this time and keep on going.

How are peeps managing to lose weight while pregnant? I'd like some of that?

I put on 3 stonenow my baby is 8 months I've lost 2 & got 1 to go

14lb on, lost the day of birth, another 14lb gone within a couple of weeks, lighter than I've been in years :)

Would add I could do with shifting another three stone though.

With ds1 I put on 3 stone and lost 2stone after and with ds 2 I put on 4 stone!!!! - it's taken me 2 years to get back to under 10 stone ( 5 stone lost!) now I'm expecting no3 and I am not getting fat this time!!! I'm 18 weeks and have put on about 4 lb so far but I do have a long gestation so I've got till 42 weeks ( like with my last 2!!)

About 3 stone both times but I don't weigh myself during pregnancy or for about 12 weeks after so I can pretend I haven't put on weight whilst troughing everything in sight!

Ds is 7 months now and i still have a stone to shift.

I have no idea why I lose weight. Trust me, it's the exact opposite to the norm! I don't know if pregnancy does something odd to my metabolism. It was actually a pain this time round as I have GD and kept getting told off for it - they assumed I was denying myself food. It's nice not to have weight gain worries for a short period though.

This is my first baby and I've gained about half a stone. I'm all bump so think it's just all the extra baby stuff that's inside me! I haven't been eating poorly, my cravings are mainly for apples, strawberries and fruity ice lollies which I suppose makes a difference.

Baby is fine, a little on the small side but I'm only 5ft and quite slim anyway. I'm certainly not denying myself anything but find it hard to lose weight so must admit gaining a lot was a worry for me. Feel relatively off the hook with just over 5 weeks to go!

I lost a stone due to severe morning sickness at first - I was a normal weight for my height (5 foot 5) (around 10 stone). So that took me down to 9 stone. I am 25 weeks (just), and have put back on the stone I lost and am now 10 stone again, just over. I really do not want to put on any more than another stone, but will see.

Sweetie I think the key for me is that I haven't eaten any more than I usually do, in fact I have probably eaten a bit less crap!

If I was the perfect weight before pg then I suspect I wouldn't have lost weight but would have been back to my normal weight within a week or so. Because I have weight to lose (quite a few stone) I have just continued to healthily lose a little each week, until the last 8-10 weeks where I have just remained the same.

I really can't wait to get weighed a few weeks after I have had him!!

For me severe morning sickness meant I lost 9lb by 20 weeks, which I regained by 28. Then I had GD so ate really well, gained only baby weight and lost it again as soon as I gave birth. It was hard not eating shit though!

That's brilliant jaqueline u put a lot on first time too. Still had 10 pounds to lose now 15 weeks with number 2 and put weight on immediately but I think it's slowed. Going to try to be good this time round I drank a lot of coke first time round because i had migraines and it was the only thing that would help me shift it and stop feeling sick. Only put on half a stone with DS2, horrendous sickness. Back to my pre-pregnancy weight both times within a few weeks.

1st baby, I gained at least 2 stone. Went from size twelve to about a size 16.
Never lost the weight before 2nd baby and went up to size 18 :(
In total I gained 3stone with them (they are 2 years apart)

Before this pregnancy I lost 3 stone in a year and was back down to a size 12 before I fell pregnant again very unexpectedly!!
This pregnancy, I have put on about 7/8lbs again just in the first 12 weeks but am trying really hard to keep walking and eating a bit better. (I binged a lot in the first two)

I havent had a day of sickness with any of my pregnancies though which hasn't helped!!

No idea. Didn't weigh myself after 12 weeks
